<p>PURPOSE:To securely remove paper powder attached to paper sheets by providing a rotatable brush in contact with sections of the paper sheets and a means to give vibrations to the paper sheets or a means to blow the air onto the paper sheets. CONSTITUTION:A brush 3 which is provided on a copying device or the like, is adjacent to a cassette 1 where a number of paper sheets 2 are stored in the laminated condition, is brought into contact with the sections (circumferential edge surface) of the paper sheets, and rotated by means of a motor 4. This brush 3 is moved along an endless-shaped rectangular guide 5 while being self- rotated, resulting in separation of paper powders attached to the paper sheets 2. The separated paper powders are collected in a container where a sucking force is applied, and caught by a filter 8. In separating the paper powders, a means to give vibrations to the paper sheets as applicable, and a means to blow the air onto the paper sheets are employed, leading to secure removal of the paper powders. After the paper powders are removed, a lid 10 is opened, and a letting-out roller 11 is brought into contact with the paper sheets, leading to feeding of the paper sheets one by one.</p> |
