PURPOSE:To simplify the detaching and attaching operations of lamp as well as better the luminous characteristics of the lamp by using a cathode made up of an Fe-Al alloy powder as the main component. CONSTITUTION:An Fe-Al alloy consisting of 40-65atm.% Fe and Al is prepared and then ground into powder. Then, the powder is formed into a desired shape with the aid of a binder of a conductive metal powder, e.g., Ag powder, etc., and then baked to obtain a cathode. |
