The invention relates to a heat exchanger for effective heat recovery from shower waste water. The heat exchanger is extremely well suited for use in shower installations in sports and recreation centres, installations of the public health service as well as sanitary complexes for military constructions and large-scale enterprises. The object of the invention is essentially to achieve optimal degrees of heat recovery and purification possibilities with reduced fabrication, material and maintenance expenditures. According to the invention, the heat exchanger is consequently made from box section pipes, preferably square box sections. The box section pipes are connected to each other in such a way that their cross-section profile edges exhibit an inclination, preferably an inclination of 45@, to the floor of the shower tub. The heat exchanger, through which service water flows preferably in a meandering way, can be pivoted in the direction of the wall side of the mixing battery. |
