<p>Light mineral oil products such as petrol, fuel oil and lubricant from garages and airports are sepd. from water in separate or combined tanks for use as a mud pit, a separator for specific gravity separation of the liquids, and a collector for the light liq. A stop valve at the inflow is closed when either the interface in the second or the level in the third compartment reaches the elevation of a threshold sensor. This prevents contamination of the drainage system by oil or petrol and eliminates turbulence between the liq. layers.</p> |
