The structure of the current sensor according to the invention comprises a conducting rod (4) passing through a central passage (2) of a toroidal magnetic circuit (1) on which a secondary electric circuit (3) is wound. At its first end (5), the conducting rod is soldered to a first right-angled connecting bracket (6) whose front face (11) is applied against the first end. The second end (7) of the conducting rod (4) has a projecting part (13), the lateral surface (17) of which is ultrasonically welded to a second right-angled bracket (8) with a right-angled end part (16).
