The pressure switch, particularly for high working pressures, in which a piston which can be supplied by a pressurised medium, switches a contact element against the force of a spring, when a contact pressure which can be preset by means of the spring is reached. The piston guided in a guide is made leaktight by means of an elastomer membrane. A bearing ring (2) surrounding the piston (4) is arranged axially between the elastomer membrane (1) and the guide of the piston (3). The bearing ring (2) has a ring-shaped shoulder on its face turned towards the membrane (1). <IMAGE>
