This device comprises: - a mould in two parts, respectively a fixed part (1) and a movable part (2); - a label magazine (3); - a member (5) for bringing in a label carrier (6, 7). The said member (5) is set in a vertical translational motion by the interaction of a roller (14) fastened (15) to a carriage (10) which is movable and guided in vertical translation, with two ramps inclined with respect to the vertical and located in two immediately adjacent parallel planes: . respectively a fixed first ramp (13) fastened to the fixed part (1) of the mould, . and a movable second ramp (12) fastened to the movable part (2) of the mould, the two ramps defining, upon opening the mould, a V-shaped groove, at the bottom of which the said roller (14) is positioned, the movement of the movable part (2) of the mould causing the two ramps (12, 13) to cross and causing the roller (14) and the movable carriage (10) to rise or fall, the said arm (5) being fastened to the carriage. <IMAGE>
