In this power socket, the retractable obturator (22) can move between a rear element (15), onto which the contact cells (18) emerge, and a front element (14) having the openings (20) giving access to these contact cells (18), and it includes, projecting from its rear face, blocking spigots (40) intended to come individually into engagement with catching notches (41) in the rear element (15) when a member is engaged from the front in the corresponding passage opening (20) of the front element (14). According to the invention, the catching notches (41) in the rear element (15) extend away from the passage openings (20) of the front element (14), these notches being shifted laterally with respect to the axis of these openings.
