The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the displacement of a camera objective lens (3) including a toothed ring (4), the rotation of which controls the displacement of the objective lens (3), at least one drive pinion (20) itself rotationally driven and mounted on a support (5) which can move between two positions, namely an engagement position in which it is in engagement with the toothed ring (4) and a disengagement position in which it is no longer in engagement with the toothed ring (4), characterised in that it comprises adjustable stop means (51), against which the movable support (5) is applied when it is in the engaging position, elastic means (43) urging the movable support in the direction of the stop means (51), holding means ensuring the retention of the movable support (5) against the urging of the elastic means (43) when the latter is in its disengaged position. <IMAGE>
