The valve body (2) and seat (13) are one piece and formed from a thin sheet, the wall thickness of both being the same. The width of one edge of the valve seat facing a valve seat seal approximately equals the thickness of the metal plate forming the valve body which is approx. 0.2 to 0.6 mm. The valve body and valve seat can be made by the punching process. A holder (17) for a sealing ring (18) is imprinted in the metal plate wall of the valve body. A channel (20) and a flange edge (14) for receiving a magnet head (3) or a valve top are also formed on the valve body. USE/ADVANTAGE - Especially for use as a magnetic valve. Economical production involving less stock-removing work.
