A dirt filter (3) is located in a through opening accessible when plug is closed and is accessible from a separate inspection opening of the housing through which it can be removed. In the flow direction the sieve is mounted first and then a non-return valve in the through opening (21). The cartridge like non return valve adjoins downstream a ring collar (211) and upstream is secured by a sprung ring (212) in the inserted position. The inspection opening is off-set by 90 deg. relative to the inlet and outlet openings (11, 12) in the housing and is tightly sealed in the housing by a threaded stopper.
