To provide a device for springing and adjusting the bearing force of a vehicle saddle, especially that of a bicycle or the like, providing outstanding riding comfort with low manufacturing and fitting costs, it is proposed that a tubular rubber-metal bush (4) be fitted beneath the nose of the saddle, the pivoting axis (5) of which is directed transversely to the saddle support (3) and the direction of travel of the vehicle and which, in combination with a tie rod, has a bearing force altering effect.
