The machine tool has a movable tools-support (7) on a horizontal guide and a vertically movable machine tool spindle. The horizontal guide consists of two parallel support-guides (5, 6) on both sides of the tools-support (7). Each of the parallel support-guides (5, 6) has an upper and an under V-shaped guide-ledge (10-13) on the sides facing the tools-support (7). The tools-support has prismatic-shaped guide-elements (14-17) moving on the guide-ledges.
