The attachment includes a water jet pump (7) which exerts pressure above the operating threshold level in an associated equalising chamber (8) by opening a tap fitting (1) connected to the overflow (3) and located in the water supply (4) between the cold water pipe network (2) and storage cylinder (5). This frees a volume in the chamber to take expansion water arising from the heating process. Between the tap fitting and the storage cylinder there is a by pass valve (9) fitted in the water supply (4) which opens when opening pressure threshold value exceeds operating threshold value in the water jet pump. ADVANTAGE - The pump is worked by comparatively low throughput of water with high throughput through the water storage cylinder.
