Clamp for forming 'T' shape joints in timber beams - two sectioned clamp with one section sliding over the first to form an opposite shoulder to that on the first section

A steel channel section (18) is laid over the top edge of a horizontal wooden beam (2). An inward facing channel section (32) is located at one end, and forms a shoulder to receive a vertical wooden beam (3). Laid over the first steel channel is a second, larger steel channel (22) which can be slid over the first section. An outward facing channel section (31) is located at end of the sliding steel section, and forms a second shoulder to the vertical wooden beam. A pair of threaded studs and wing nuts draw the two steel channels together over the horizontal beam. USE/ADVANTAGE- For producing 'T' joints in concrete formwork.
