<p>A valve for diverting fluid in a turbomachine having a first duct 24 which links its two compressors 12, 14, the valve comprising a plurality of circumferentially spaced variable position guide vanes 26 between said two compressors 12, 14, an axially displaceable sleeve valve 34 upstream of said vanes 26 and one or more blow in doors 50 downstream of said vanes 26. The elements of said valve means being movable between a first position in which they act to direct all the air from the first compressor 12 such that it supercharges the second compressor 14 and a second position in which the vanes 26 and sleeve valve 34 act to direct the air from the first compressor to one or more front nozzles 38 and the blow in doors 50 allow air to enter the second compressor 14 via an auxiliary air intake duct 46. <IMAGE></p> |
