The present invention relates to a safety device for an electric heating device, which is detachably provided in an existing electric heating device such as an iron, a hair iron, or the like to secure the safety thereof. According to the present invention, the safety device for an electric heating device comprises a safety connector detachably interposed between a plug of the electric heating device and an external socket to electrically connect the plug of the electric heating device to the external socket; and a visualization unit detachably attached to one side of the electric heating device, and visualizing the heating state of the electric heating device. The safety connector maintains power supply when the electric heating device is being used, and blocks power supply when a certain period of time has elapsed in a state in which the electric heating device is not being used. |
