<p>A profiled sealing member (1) comprises a fixing portion (2) made wholly of rubber and a sealing portion (3) secured thereto. The fixing portion (2) is substantially L-shaped in cross-section and has a first limb (6) positioned opposite an outer side face (7) of a flange (8) of the motor vehicle chassis. Opposite an end face (15) of the flange (8) is a second limb (14) of the fixing portion (2) connected to the first limb (6). The second limb (14) overlaps and is connected fixedly and in a moisture-sealing manner to the end face (15) by an adhesive means (17) and the first limb (6) is connected in like manner to the outer side face (7) by an adhesive means (13). <IMAGE></p> |
