<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a digital signal processor. CONSTITUTION:Code converters 3 and 4 which generate codes for shortening a humming distance according to the statistical characteristics of a signal so as to decrease the frequency of inversion between binary values 0 and 1, are connected to a coupling part of at least one of digital signal processing means 1 (processor 1, memory 9, input/output circuit 10, etc.) which are coupled by an address bus 7, a data bus 8, etc. The frequency of the polarity inversion of 0 and 1 when a load is drive can be decreased to reduce power consumption.</p> |
