摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the rise of average speed and peak speed in a virtual channel by controlling a system in such a way that an original cell flow rate including a cell flow rate accumulated in a delay circuit to be small for absorbing a transmission delay difference. CONSTITUTION:A control means 10 transmits a cell write control signal 91 writing only a real cell in accordance with a signal 90 showing the presence or absence of the arrival of the real cell to FIFO 80 and records a real cell arrival interval. When the real cell arrival interval exceeds an integer M, the signal 91 is transmitted to FIFO 80, resets the real cell arrival interval in the middle of counting and starts counting the real cell arrival interval. At the time of reading the cell, the control means 10 on/off-controls a cell read control signal 93. Thus, the blank cell corresponding to the real cell arrival interval is inserted while the accumulated real cell is read one by one. At that time, micro time compression is realized and the increase of a cell flow rate can appropriately be suppressed.</p>
