PURPOSE:To recognize automatically the occurrence of a transmission error by providing a rear side character printer to the facsimile equipment and providing a means displaying a transmission error corresponding to a document number to an error list generating device. CONSTITUTION:The facsimile equipment is provided with a rear side character printer 12 printing out a document number to a rear side of a transmission original fed by a transmission original feeder 1, and an error list generating device 11 is provided with a means displaying a transmission error corresponding to the document number. Thus, even when a sender leaves the facsimile equipment while lots of items are sent, if a transmission error takes place, which transmission of which transmission original is in error is recognized by checking the transmission error list printed out onto the transmission original corresponding to the document number. Furthermore, since the document number is printed out onto the rear side of the transmission original by the rear side character printer 12, trouble of writing the reception document number manually to the transmission original is omitted. |
