PURPOSE:To provide a reflection preventing/charge preventing film of one-layer structure having a good characteristic with one coating by adding conducting fine grains of a specific metal oxide to an alcohol solution of alkyl silicate, and applying it on the front surface of a glass panel. CONSTITUTION:A mixed solution added with at least one or more kinds of conducting fine grains among tin oxide, indium oxide, and antimony oxide having the average grain size of 70nm or below at the ratio of 0.1-10.0wt.% in a solution mainly made of alcohol and incorporating alkyl silicate is generated. This mixed solution is applied on the front surface of the glass panel 1 of a cathode-ray tube by spraying. The coated portion is baked to form a reflection preventing/charge preventing film 12. This film 12 forms a surface having strong adhesive force to the glass panel face and a good glare-proof characteristic, it can be formed by one coating, thus it can be manufactured at a low cost with few process. |
