PURPOSE: To prevent polymer formation by selectively hydrogenating a hydrocarbon-based compound and bringing it into contact with a hydrogenation recycle solution containing hydrogen at reaction zone operated under specified hydrogenating condition. CONSTITUTION: In the method, the row material stream of di-orefinic halogenated organic materials is introduced through a pipe 1, and brought into contact with hydrogenation recycle solution containing hydrogen provided through a pipe 8. The row material stream of the di-orefinic halogenated organic material composed of hydrogenation organic compounds and the recycle solution containing hydrogen are introduced into a hydrogenation zone 2 through the pipe 1. The stream of a lower concentration di-orefinic halogenated organic materials thereby obtained is recovered from the hydrogenation reaction zone through a pipe 3, and then is mixed with a gaseous recycle stream containing more hydrogen fed by a pipe 18 and then introduced into a saturation vessel 4. Thereby, polymer formation is prevented. |
