<p>PURPOSE:To provide a golf club shaft capable of changing partially the rigidity and a core bar for manufacturing the same. CONSTITUTION:A core bar body 1 consists of an at-hand forming member 3 on the proximal end side and a tip forming member 4 of the distal end side. Both members 3, 4 are interconnected at the ends of the respective cylindrical small diameter parts 6, 8 which form an outer diameter reducing part. Reinforcing fibers impregnated with resin are wound around the outer peripheral surface of the core bar body 1 to be hardened. The members 3, 4 are separated from each other in the outer diameter reducing part and the core bar body is drawn out to form a shaft body 9. The shaft body 9 has the high rigidity part 11 having the inner diameter of a hole part 10 reduced partially along the axis L and the wall thickness increased partially on the way of the direction of the axis L. The shaft body 9 is difficult to flex in the high rigidity part 11 and easy to flex in the other marts.</p> |
