PURPOSE:To enhance travel controllability of an electric automobile employing solar cells by controlling the output torque of a control motor. CONSTITUTION:Solar beam is converted through a solar cell unit 1 into electric power which is then regulated through a storage battery 2. A motor controller 3 further regulates the power and feeds a control motor 4 with regulated power. The regulating level is commanded by a speed commander 7 and a torque commander 8. The control motor 4 receives power to produce rotating force. A driving force transmitter 5 regulates the output of the control motor 4, i.e., rotating force, and transmits the regulated rotating force to a wheel 6. The wheel 6 transmits the rotating force to the pavement thus traveling an electric vehicle employing solar cells. |
