<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a device for correcting the meandering of a strip which is provided before a take-up device on a hot rolling line, prevents the life from being shortened by the cut edge, edge crack of the strip and abrasion of a side guide device and improves the yield of products. CONSTITUTION:A steering pinch roll is arranged and as tension is given to the strip S passing between a top roll 1 and a bottom roll 2, rolling reduction of hydraulic cylinders 6a, 6b is adjusted by the moving amount to the operating side W or the driving side D of the strip to correct the meandering of the strip. A strip edge part on the outlet side is photographed by a camera 7 and the picture is sent to a controller 14 as a rolling reduction signal of the hydraulic cylinder through a picture processor 11 and an operation processor 12 for a meandering amount. Load cells 8a, 8b supporting a bottom roll detect the rolling down force and send it to the controller. The rolling reduction is adjusted through hydraulic servo circuits 16a, 16b so that the controller rolls down the strip through these values within the range of elastic deformation of the strip.</p> |
