GUIDE WIRE ASSEMBLAGE POSSIBLE TO TORQUE, HAVING ELECTRICAL FUNCTION AND MALE-FEMALE CONNECTOR, AND USING DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide an assembly capable of exerting electric function and giving a torque by furnishing connector means to connect together the conductors of a flexible cable and a flexible guide wire, and allowing the connector means to support means to rotate a male connector with respect to a female connector. CONSTITUTION: A guide wire assembly 116 extending with a catheter 111 and a three-arm joint 113 inserted is furnished at one end with a torque giving device 121. At one end of this assembly 116, a rotary connector 122 is installed removably. The rotary connector 122 generates electric connections of the conductors of the assembly 116 with a flexible cable 123 containing a number of conductors connected with an electronic device 124. Suppressing means 140 suppress the movement of the male connector 93 of the assembly 116 relative to the female connector 141 supported by the rotary connector 122.
