Disclosed is a dust collector for a vacuum cleaner, comprising: a first cyclone installed inside an external case to filter dust from air introduced from the outside, introducing the filtered air thereinto; a plurality of second cyclones received inside the first cyclone to separate fine dust from the air introduced into the first cyclone; and a cover member disposed to cover inlets of the second cyclones. The cyclones, which are disposed adjacent to each other inside the first cyclone, among the first and second cyclones define a first space. A second space is formed between the cover member and the inlets to be communicated with the first space. A guide vane is disposed in the inlet to spirally extend along the inner periphery of the inlet, and induces the rotary flow of the air introduced into the second cyclone through the first and second spaces. According to the present invention, the dust collector for the vacuum cleaner is able to discharge the dust and the fine dust at the same time. |
