PURPOSE:To provide an optical head used to the recording and reproducing device of an optical disk, to accurately perform tracking control and focusing control without interfering each other and simultaneously to miniaturize and lighten a tracking drive part and to improve a responce characteristic and further, to miniaturize and lighten an entire. CONSTITUTION:An optical unit 9 providing a light source 1, a galvano-mirror 2 and a photodetectors 3, 4 integrally on a silicon substrate 5 and an objective lens 11 are loaded on a supporting member 10. By moving the supporting member in the direction of focusing with a driving device containing focusing coils 19, 20 and by rotating the galvano-mirror based on a tracking error signal, tracking control is performed. |
