摘要 PURPOSE:To seal cooled water by inserting O ring in the space with annulus ring shape to be formed with each surface of a large annulus ring plate and a small annulus ring plate and with the inner peripheral surface of a small-diameter facing spot of a holder, and at the same time, to seal cooled water to prevent from aged deterioration after fixing each end so that an optical axis may not change by giving pressure, with the use of an elastic clamp ring, on the surface of the large annulus ring plate. CONSTITUTION:Two-stage type facing sport portion consisting of a small-diameter facing spot and a large-diameter facing spot as well as internal thread portion are installed in the internal surface of ends of a holder 2 to hold the ends of a laser rod 1. A facing spot plate 3 is inserted into the small-diameter facing spot, and another facing spot plate 5 is inserted into the large-diameter facing spot. In addition, an O ring 4 made of rubber is inserted into a groove of annulus ring space to be formed by the opposite surface of each facing-spot plate and inner peripheral surface of the small-diameter facing spot. A truncated cone elastic clamp ring 6 made of ethylene resin tetrafluoride is inserted at the ends of the large-diameter facing-spot plate. Therefore, the outer peripheral surface of a laser rod is fixed by the elastic clamp ring to change shape by being shrunken in the radial direction. Moreover, the outer peripheral surface of the laser rod gets sealed to the cooled water by the O ring to change shape and give pressure on the cooled water.
