PURPOSE:To obtain an electric connector which has a relatively stable impedance and a low crosstalk by forming a wide male conductor and a gland shell in a strip line structure for male signal terminals. CONSTITUTION:In an impedance conforming type electric connector which consists of a plug connector member 30 and a jack connector member 35, a plain and wide male connector 32 and a gland shell 34 form a strip line structure for a first and a second male signal conductor 33. And the member 35 is composed of a jack housing 36 which consists of an insulator material, a wide female conductor 37, and female signal conductors 38 at the first and second lines. By such a constitution, the desired specific impedance can be obtained by the strip line structure, it can be conformed with the specific impedance of a mounted printed wiring plate, and an influence of noise is small, and an impedance matching type electric connector which can obtain a stable impedance and a small crosstalk can be obtained. |
