PURPOSE:To enable speedy editing by moving character strings with a small number of key operations. CONSTITUTION:In a step (S) 10, a moving instruction is executed from a key input part 1. In an S11, the character string to be the object of move is retrieved according to the cursor position of the moving instruction by a character string judgement part 5 and stored in a character string storage part 6. In an S12, the cursor position in the case of executing the moving instruction from the key input part 1 in the S10 is retrieved, and the moving destination of the character string is decided by a moving destination judgement part 7 and stored in a moving destination storage part 8. In an S13, corresponding to the head character of the character string retrieved and stored in the S11 and the moving destination position retrieved and stored in the S12, the character string is moved from the head character by the move processing of a character string move processing part 9. In a step S14, the character string retrieved and stored in the S11 is erased from the position of a moving source, and the operation is finished. |
