PURPOSE:To satisfactorily carry out the prohibiting processing of a sentence composed of characters in various sizes by deciding whether the prohibiting processing is executed or stopped according to the width of a prohibited character. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 11 constitutes an input means provided with plural keys containing a character input key, a storing means is composed of a memory 12 to store character information, a control part 13 controls the entire device, and a printer 15 constitutes a printing-out means. Characters inputted from the keyboard 11 are written through the control part 13 to the memory 12. This written information is displayed through the control part 13 onto an LCD screen 14. Afterwards, when the prohibiting processing key of the keyboard 11 is depressed, the control part 13 executes the prohibiting processing. In this case, when it is judged based on a judging and counting means that prohibited character information wider than prescribed width is positioned at the end of a line, an prohibiting processing means, namely, the control part 13 does not prohibit the prohibited character information. |
