<p>PURPOSE:To incorporate an EPROM in an IC located in a package with a small number of terminals and to enable a writing with a ROM writer by incorporating an address counter in the IC and connecting the output terminals of the address counter to the output terminals of the EPROM. CONSTITUTION:In a package 3 only one address terminal A0'' is provided which is connected to an address terminal A0 of an EPROM 1 located in an IC2. In this case, internal switches SW1-SW11 are switched so that address counters 10-21 are made operable and data are written into the EPROM 1 in accordance with an address information ADO of a ROM writer. Furthermore, if the number of address terminals of the EPROM 1 is the same as the address terminals of the ROM writer, the internal switches are switched so that the address counter is made inoperable and data are written into the EPROM 1 in accordance with the address information of the ROM writer. By this arrangement, an IC incorporating an EPROM is installed and data are written by a ROM writer.</p> |
