PURPOSE: To realize a high speed desk top type printer with low costs in which a color picture and text with a high picture quality can be printed. CONSTITUTION: In a series of sheet carrying processing, monochromatic text information is printed by a text print part 11, and color picture information is printed by a color picture print part 10. Text information and graphic information are separated from print information, and respectively transmitted to each print part 11 and 10, and the carriage of a sheet is attained by continuous movement on the text print part 11 side, and incremental movement on the color print part 10 side. |
