PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR QUICK CONNECT COUPLING A protective device for a quick connect coupling having selectively connectable male and female coupling bodies. The device includes a generally cylindrical sleeve extending axially beyond and radially outward of an end face of one of the male and female coupling bodies. The sleeve has a generally radially outward tapering conformation to add desired rigidity and bulk thereto. The protective device is designed to extend axially outward beyond either the female receiving member or the male stem portion in both a first outermost biased position and a second innermost position.
