PURPOSE: To improve unsealing performance of a pouch by continuously applying ultrasonic energy from a pair of ultrasonic tips to a pouch formed of a thermoplastic film and forming a score having highly predictable strength for unsealing. CONSTITUTION: A flat tube having first and second edges is obtained by manufacturing a continuous tube by fusing thermoplastic resin and extruding it through a die of an extruder, and then inserting it through a pinch roller pair. The tube is introduced to a score forming unit and moved along an anvil having first and second front surface 44, 46 separated from each other by the edge of the tooth shape. Scores are formed in the specified positions on both sides 50, 52 of the tube by ultrasonic vibration (frequencies of 20 kHz to 70 kHz) to be continuously generated from a pair of ultrasonic converters 60, 62 connected to a common power supply 54. |
