PURPOSE:To easily and stably obtain an out-head acoustic image orientating impulse response signal which orientates an acoustic image in an arbitrary position by hearing with both ears. CONSTITUTION:An external auditory miatus impulse response signal is measured (101) and is converted to a frequency area (102), and values of real parts and imaginary parts of low-band and high-band complex frequency components on the outside of the effective sound source band are set to those of low-band and high-band complex frequency components which are boundaries of the effective sound source band respectively (103 and 104), and it is converted to a time area (105). Thus, the frequency characteristic of the external audiotiry miatus impulse response signal is calculated, and an unknown out-head acoustic field orientating impulse response signal is obtained by the inverse arithmetic algorithm (107) between this calculated external audotiry miatus impulse response signal and a space impulse response signal independently selected (106). |
