PURPOSE:To easily designate a color without faile to a picture processing applied to the desired color area of a color picture. CONSTITUTION:An operating part A-1 designates a desired color tone range in a color out of those colors that can be read by a picture reading part 301 based on a color plane 230 set previously at the part A-1. Then a color recognizing circuit 302b discriminates the color tone of the color picture read by the part 301 based on the color plane angle information designated by the part A-1 in a color. Based on the discriminating result, a picture editing part 302e applies the desired picture processing to the designated color area of the color picture. |
