PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device having ECU which achieves weight reduction.SOLUTION: A steering device 1 has: an electronic control unit 20 having a circuit board and a resin housing accommodating the circuit board; a column 4 which includes a lower column 4a fixed to a vehicle body and an upper column 4b fitted to the lower column 4a so as to be movable in an axial direction, and rotatably supports a steering shaft 3 which is mounted with a steering wheel; and a bracket 22 which supports the upper column 4b and is mounted on the vehicle body so as to separable from the vehicle body at the time of secondary collision. The bracket 22 is separated from the vehicle body at the time of the secondary collision, moves to the vehicle body front side in the axial direction of the column 4 together with the upper column 4b. At least a part of the housing of the electronic control unit 20 is arranged in a space where the bracket 22 moves at the time of secondary collision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
