PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one shaft multi-car elevator or the like in which a time when a car already enabled to start running is prevented from running can be shortened by promoting a door-closing operation and running start of other car positioned in the same hoistway, and thereby the efficiency of operation is improved and the discomfort of a passenger is reduced.SOLUTION: A start-up of a target car is inhibited based on a position of a destination floor of the target car completing the getting on/off and a door fully closed state, and a position of an adjacent car of the destination floor direction of the target car. A starting estimated time when the target car can start is estimated based on the position of the destination floor of the target car, the position of the adjacent car and the getting on/off state. When a door-closing button of the target car is pushed after the starting estimated time passes, a door-closing command is transmitted to the adjacent car to close a door, and the door opening other than the door-opening button of the adjacent car is invalidated before closing the door in the adjacent car, and thereby the notification of promoting the pressing of the door-closing button after the starting estimated time passes to the passenger of the target car and the notification of informing the passenger of the adjacent car of performing the door closing are performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
