PURPOSE:To display and distinguish other information on a dictionary in respect to each word when the plural words coincident with designated information are present on the dictionary after designating the word by displaying a part of the information of the word by an operator. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with the dictionary storing words while corresponding to the information of reading, description and part of speech, etc., word instructing means for instructing the word on the dictionary by showing the specified information of the work, and dictionary retrieving means for finding the word having contents coincident with the information shown by the word instructing means by retrieving the word from the dictionary. When the plural words are found by the dictionary retrieving means, the information of the word not instructed by the word instructing means on the dictionary is displayed in respect to the plural words. |
