PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pedestrian protection performance by ensuring a deformation volume of a hood when a pedestrian collides with the hood, while maintaining the rigidity of the entire hood.SOLUTION: In a hood 10, a hood inner panel 16 has an opening 164 which opens from one end side of a vehicle in a vehicle width direction to the other side, and whose front end is positioned behind a striker 64. The hood 10 comprises a step part (a first extension part 605 or a second extension part 607) forming a step toward the opening 164 side at the periphery of the opening 164. The step part is formed apart from a hood outer panel 12 along the periphery of the opening 164 from one end side of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction to the other side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
