RESONANCE SCANNER CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: To generate a pattern at uniform pixel interval without distortion regardless that a moving speed of a beam spot on a print medium is ununiform in the case of scanning a laser beam with a sine vibration mirror. CONSTITUTION: A laser controller 12 to apply pulse-drive to a laser source 10 is operated continuously synchronously with an angular movement of a vibration mirror 14A of a resonance scanner 14, provided with a memory that stores a mirror position and speed information and generates a memory address corresponding to a selected pixel position and gives the address to the memory via a count means. A voltage controlled oscillator with negative feedback loop generates a clock frequency having a linear relation with a frequency control signal based on a pixel clock 22 according to information data from the memory. Each device is operated to keep accurately a pixel position in corporation with an optical scanning detector 16, a scanner driver 18 and a phase detector.
