<p>PURPOSE:To provide the variable notation binary picture data with superior tone and resolution by converting the multilevel estimate data keeping the resolution. CONSTITUTION:The processor consists of a multilevel estimate block 2 converting the binary picture data read out from a hard disk 1 storing the binary picture for variable notation processing into the multilevel estimate data, a variable notation block 3 converting the multilevel estimate data from this multilevel estimate block into the objective variable notation rate, an edge emphasis block 4 converting the multilevel estimate data from this variable power block into the multilevel estimate data with edge emphasized through each processing of smoothing, subtraction, comparison, multiplication, and addition, and a re-binarization block 5 outputting the variable notation binary picture data through the binary processing of the multilevel estimate data from the edge emphasis block.</p> |
