PURPOSE:To reduce an ionization phenomenon of cooling water greatly and prevent the resistivity of the cooling water from increasing, by covering a part in contact with the cooling water except for a part in electrical contact with a pumping lamp of an electrode clip with an electrical insulator. CONSTITUTION:An electrode clip 24 is in electrical contact with a mouth piece 23 which is a part of a pumping lamp 22, and holds the lamp 22. A base 25 is fixed on a body 20 and the electrode clip 24 is fixed with the base 25. An electrical insulating layer 35 made of fluororesin or ceramic, etc., is formed on an inlet face 32 of the mouth piece 23 of the electrode clip 24, an outer face except, for a holding face 33 continuing to the inlet face 32 and formed bendably, a head of a screw 29, and an exposed face of the conductive part of the base 25. Thus, triggering failure of the pumping lamp 22 due to deterioration of the nature of the cooling water is eliminated and a stable laser oscillation can be obtained. |
