<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently investigate the cause of (x) (indefinite) signal generation from the result of logic simulation. CONSTITUTION:A waveform display device automatically performs operation for checking an (x)-signal generating element by tracing the input pins of an element wherein an (x) signal is propagated from the output of the element where the (x) signal is propagated and making a highlight display of an (x) signal propagation signal line by an (x)-signal propagation signal line display means 6. An (x)-signal generation cause output means 7 outputs information regarding the cause of the (x)-signal generation to a list. The highlight display of the signal line where the (x) signal is propagated is made, so the (x) signal propagation path can instantaneously be confirmed and the cause of the (x)- signal generation is outputted to the list, so the (x)-signal generation cause investigation is facilitated.</p> |
