<p>PURPOSE:To protect a wire against damage and to enhance safety in wire laying work by passing a wheel smoothly through a joint protector. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary wheel 11 is provided while spacing apart from a main wheel 10 by a distance longer than a protector 20 in the direction opposite to the wire laying direction. A linking rod 19 is then fixed rotatably, at the opposite ends thereof, to the supporting frames 13, 15 of the main and auxiliary wheels 10, 11. The auxiliary wheel 11 is then suspended elevatingly by means of a movable wheel cord, e.g. a wire rope 21, so that the auxiliary wheel 11 is lifted upto the height of the main wheel 10 when the protector 20 passes through the main wheel 10.</p> |
