PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of the assisting means as the joint to be used for the human body assisting means and to constitute the assisting means in such a manner that the permissible range of the relative rotating angle between adjacent protective members can infinitely and delicately be adjusted in the state of mounting the assisting means to the human body. CONSTITUTION:The joint 1 consists of a movable disk 2, a driven disk 21, and a shaft 30 penetrating the centers thereof. The disk 2 is mounted attachably and detachably to one 90 of the protective members. An annular groove 4 formed of an outer flange 3 and an inner flange 5 positioning on the inner side in its radial direction is provided at the end face of the disk. A through hole directed to the tangent direction of this annular groove is provided on the flange 3. Pins 41, 42 for regulating turning are inserted therein. The disk 21 is mounted attachably and detachably to another member 91 and a projecting segment 24 is provided at the end face on the opposite side. This segment 24 is slidably engaged with the annular groove of the disk 2 to regulate the turning motion within the annular groove of the projecting segment by the pins for regulating turning. |
