This is a panel which is obtained from a glass-wool felt impregnated with heat-setting resins, optionally given a web of glass fibre and external protection, which is introduced into a mould in which it is polymerised, pressed and shaped. It has very high absorption properties, particularly at low frequencies. It has a corrugated form and is placed inside air-conduit silencing cartridges, with appropriate means. A more effective silencer is obtained which can be shaped and fitted in situ. <IMAGE>
